Criteria
This is a full-time on-site role located in Batu Caves for an Online Sales Executive. The Online Sales Executive will be responsible for managing sales activities on our online platforms, identifying potential customers, responding to customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. They will be working closely with the Marketing and Operations team.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally through various online channels, including email, chat, and social media.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide product information, pricing details, and address any concerns to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Actively pursue and convert leads generated through online platforms into sales.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and techniques.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue and enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about product features, specifications, and updates to effectively communicate with customers.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product listings and descriptions on various online sales platforms.
- Provide accurate information and advice to customers to guide them in making the right purchase decisions.
Order Processing:
- Manage the end-to-end order process, including order placement, payment processing, and shipment coordination.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, tracking, and resolution of any issues related to shipping or delivery.
Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for new products or services and to optimize pricing strategies.
Promotions and Campaigns:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute online sales promotions, campaigns, and discounts.
- Monitor the performance of promotions and analyze data to make recommendations for future campaigns.
Customer Feedback:
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Communicate feedback to the relevant teams, such as product development or customer service, for continuous improvement.
Data Analysis:
- Utilize data analytics tools to track and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and other relevant metrics.
- Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize online sales strategies.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with online sales regulations and standards.
- Implement security measures to protect customer data and maintain the integrity of online transactions.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in online sales.
- Attend relevant training sessions or workshops to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to connect with customers and build relationships
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
- Experience in online sales or e-commerce is a plus
